Vice Principal

Bassam El Sayed is a distinguished educator with over 23 years of experience, currently serving as Vice Principal at SIPS. He holds a Master’s degree in Education (Leadership and Management) from the British University of Dubai, along with a bachelor’s degree in Arabic language and literature and a teaching diploma from Beirut Arab University. Additionally, Bassam is certified as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, underscoring his commitment to student welfare and safety.

In his role at SIPS, Bassam is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that promotes student excellence and fosters a lifelong love of learning. His extensive experience in educational leadership includes successfully implementing strategic methodologies and developing innovative lesson plans that significantly enhance student outcomes. As an IB workshop leader, he is also passionate about promoting international educational standards and best practices.

As a Penta-accredited inspector for British Schools Overseas, Bassam has been instrumental in raising educational standards, contributing to school inspections, and improving multiple assessment parameters through his unwavering commitment to excellence.
