Meet Hatice Yurdakul, a passionate and dedicated educator on a transformative journey in education. Starting at Middle East Technical University, she pursued her passion for teaching English language. With a bachelor’s and master’s degree, Hatice’s expertise grew. In 1998, she began her teaching career at Baskent University, Turkey, inspiring students through language and literature for thirteen years. In 2012, she ventured to India, embracing cultural diversity as an ESL Teacher at Excelsior American School. From 2013 to 2015, Hatice taught English to diverse students at Atilim University, fostering an inclusive environment. Proudly serving at RAK Academy from 2016 to 2021, she supported EAL students and promoted literacy. At St. Mary’s Private High School from 2021 to 2022, she empowered students with English as an Additional Language. As Head of the English Department at Harvest Private School, Hatice led a dedicated team. In 2022, she pursued her second master’s degree in educational leadership at Manchester University, aspiring to be a transformative leader. Hatice’s commitment to education extended beyond classrooms, igniting interests through extracurricular activities. Her interests in culinary arts, pets, trekking, and nature enriched her approach to teaching, instilling wonder and creativity in her students.
