I am Shaikh Khalid Faisal AlQasimi, with a background enriched by business and entrepreneurship. Educated in Business Administration at American Intercontinental University in London, and Travel and Tourism Management at Skyline University College, along with a General Management Program at the Indian Institute of Management, I’ve gained a global outlook and diverse skills. In my role as Vice-Chairman of AlQasimi Group, I prioritize sustainable growth and ethical standards. Beyond this, I’m a founding member of the Emirates Angels Association, supporting innovative startups, and manage several ventures like Alpha Emirates, Royal Art Decor, and Remal Group, focusing on innovation and strategic direction.
My investments span various sectors, including international trade, psychological wellness, automotive, and food & beverage, reflecting my dedication to well-being, technological advancement, and customer engagement.

My educational foundation includes a BSC with honors in Science from Brighton University/UK, demonstrating a strong academic background. Additionally, I hold a Master of Education and a Master of Leadership and Management, emphasizing my commitment to continuous professional development.
Recently, I achieved the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), a testament to my leadership skills and dedication to advancing educational excellence. My multifaceted expertise positions me as a seasoned education professional capable of steering institutions towards success and fostering a conducive learning environment for students and staff alike.
Merlyn Fernandes

I’m Merlyn Fernandes, with 30-year career spanning roles as Personal Assistant and Health & Safety Officer at Sharjah International Private School L.L.C | S.P.. My background in Sociology and Political Science has been crucial in my journey, which includes executive roles at Kotak Mahindra Finance Limited and Dubai Investments PJSC Group, and significant experience in health and safety in education. At Sharjah International, my focus is on ensuring student safety and well-being, contributing to our school’s nurturing and successful environment.
ALAA HASAN WAIS

I’m Alaa Hasan Wais, the Coordinator of Human Resources & Management with 23 years of experience, primarily in the educational sector in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. My education in Business and Management from the University of Aleppo, supplemented by certification from the American Institute of Business & Management, has been crucial in my career. I’ve served in key roles such as Head of Human Resources and HR Coordinator. My expertise spans across Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), HR policies, international recruitment, and strategic HR planning. I’m committed to enhancing organizational efficiency and creating a productive work environment in education.
LOBNA DARWISH

I’m Lobna Darwish, an experienced ICT, Design & Technology Teacher with over 14 years in education, teaching, and training across various roles in the UAE. My career includes work in both governmental and private schools, supplemented by attending international conferences in the UAE, Finland, Egypt, and Spain. Besides teaching, I’m actively involved in research, innovation, and programming. I also volunteer with the Emirates Red Crescent and other charities, reflecting my dedication to education, innovation, and community service.
ALYA OBAID

I’m Alya Obaid Alhosani, a UAE national, born on March 3, 2001. In 2022, I earned my B.Sc. in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Sharjah. My academic journey included participating in club activities, SolidWorks workshops, and renewable energy challenges. I’ve completed lab safety training, volunteered at WETEX with the Society of Engineers, and interned at Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority. Fluent in Arabic and English, I am skilled in MATLAB and Microsoft Office, and I excel in teamwork, communication, critical thinking, leadership, and research/writing, underscoring my commitment to sustainable energy engineering.
AZMA ATIF

I am Asma Atif, an individual with a strong academic background and a keen dedication to my education. In 2014, I achieved a significant milestone by scoring 6.0 in the IELTS, showcasing my proficiency in English. This achievement in both my schooling and language proficiency reflects my commitment and hard work towards my educational goals.

For the last ten years in the UAE, I’ve been committed to enhancing my professional skills and enjoying my work. Beyond my career, I’m passionate about basketball and represent Syria in the sport. I believe in balancing professional development with personal interests, understanding the significance of enjoying both work and leisure to achieve overall fulfillment.
