Uniform Policy

Aim

to ensure that all students come to school in neat and tidy uniforms and adhere to the dress code to maintain a sense of discipline and unity within our school community.

Objective

To establish and maintain a disciplined learning environment in ensuring that our school policies are adhered to, and every child understands and follows the dress code diligently.

The school uniform can be procured from the school store, and it should be acquired before the start of the new academic year.

PE Uniform
Boys
Foundation Stage (FS1, FS2 & YEAR 1)
JACKET - RED WITH WHITE LINE, with the school logo on the front and School Name on the back PANT- RED WITH WHITE LINE T-SHIRT- White Poly cotton with multi colour logo on the front.
Year 2 to Year 7
JACKET     -   BLUE WITH WHITE LINE, with the school logo on the front and School Name on the back PANT        -   BLUE WITH WHITE LINE T-SHIRT    - White Poly cotton with multi colour logo on the front.
8 to Year 10: Year
JACKET     -   BLACK WITH RED LINE, with the school logo on the front and School Name on the back PANT        -   BLACK WITH RED LINE T-SHIRT    -   Red & Black Poly cotton with multi colour logo on the front.
All shirts should be buttoned up and tucked in properly. Sleeves should be kept rolled down and buttoned at the cuffs. Trousers should be belted properly at the waist and NOT be kept low.
PE Uniform

FS1 to Year 9 students must wear their respective house colour uniform on PE days with plain white sports shoes and socks.

Winter Wear

School Fleece Jacket:  Dark Blue with School Logo on the Front & School Name at the Back (For all students of FS1 to Year13).

 Footwear: FS1 to Year 13 students are required to wear black leather shoes with plain white socks on regular school days.

Headwear and Hair

1- Caps are not to be worn at school except for field trips where they should be plain and simple.

2- Haircuts or hair styles which draw undue attention to the wearer are not permitted. Multi–coloured or unnatural coloured hair is not allowed. Spikes and hair gel are also not permitted.

3-
Boys’ hair should be short and neatly trimmed to ensure that the ears and forehead is not covered. The length of the hair should not extend beyond the nape.

4- Girls’ hair should not cover the forehead and if longer than the shoulders, it should be neatly braided/tied in a ponytail.

5- Girls wearing Hijabs are permitted to use any colour Hijab, neatly tied and should be worn meeting its purpose.

6- Girls wearing Abaya should wear plain black Abaya with no adornments over the school uniform.

Cosmetics

Use of cosmetics, body paint and Nail Polish is strictly prohibited.

Permissible Jewelry for Girls

Earrings worn by girls should only be studs. No long earrings are allowed. Any other items of jewelry such as rings, necklaces, wristbands, or ankle bands are not permitted. Sunglasses are not to be worn in classrooms or offices.

 

The possession of skateboards/skates/rollerblades/scooters/ and bikes and their use is prohibited at school.

Students are required to bring a schoolbag, relevant books, pencil case to school each day and Laptop/tablet if required.

Note:

  1. Students who do not adhere to the school’s uniform policy will be detained from classes, and consequently, they will miss out on important lessons, resulting in loss of learning.
  2. There will be a deduction of Two marks if your child/children are not in their regular school uniforms during the exams as per the timetable.
